D.O.D was a vision given by God; to benefit women form 15 years of age up, through the guidance of “Mentorship”. To prepare them for their true purpose in life and to reach their divine destines. To provide them with Spiritual and natural development; through coaching, providing the tools that will give them a greater chance at education; careers, counseling/spiritual and natural, financially etc.

Empowering them to impact their churches, communities, work place, and Corporate America and yes even other countries. Building women for the 21st century; helping them to be victorious over comers. Remembering they were born with purpose and no matter the challenges, adversity, or defeat. Last but not lest; a scholarship fund; Linda W. Mayes scholarship fund for continue education/careers! Show me a man with great perspective of life, and I’ll show you a great “Woman” behind him or beside him!

Women who will become influential leaders. Impacting their homes, communities, Corporate America and other countries. Not just any kind of mother, wife, sister, aunt or friend. But women impregnated with purpose.

Vision Statement
Proverbs 31-29-31; Ephesians 1:9-10 Daughters of Distinction (D.O.D.) Ministry/Organization was inspired by God to strengthen 21st Century women through mentorship, spiritually and naturally.

To encourage and prepare them to fulfill their divine destiny’s. Reminding them they were born with purpose and no matter the challenges, adversity; or defeat. With the right birthing coach/mentor they will become pre-destine leaders, wives, educators, instructors, impacting this world. Mentors are sent as the guiding force to channel those who may be lost or do not know how to accomplish their purpose in life. They must show unconditional love, concern, empathy to provide wisdom and knowledge for each situation that arise. Providing them with the necessary nurturing, tools, education, and resources that will aide them in their journey. Remembering this can only happen if we look not in the past but in the future. Understanding as long as there is a tomorrow, there is an opportunity to get it right. One writer said, “Show me a man with great perspective of life, I’ll show you a great woman behind them; or beside them."
